What lessons can entrepreneurs take from the sanctions imposed so far by ANPD?

To date (August 2024) the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) has imposed 6 (six) administrative sanctions, being 5 (five) to the public authorities and only 1 (one) of them against private initiative, as a result Violations of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). 1 Still, when analyzing the sanctions imposed by ANPD, it is possible to take some important lessons, which are able to assist companies in processes related to personal data processing.
